As a DFW micro-wedding photographer who has seen all sorts of weddings, I love when my couples put a unique spin on their big day. I knew these two from my younger days, (seriously, Marisa in particular has some embarrassing childhood stories she could tell!). They have always been two unique souls, and their intimate Celtic wedding was absolutely perfect for them.

This was my first Celtic wedding, and there is so much symbology and purposeful meaning of each part of their wedding. Music played an integral role, and having it in their family backyard was the icing on the cake to make their day completely special to them. They physically “tied the knot”, and even walked down the aisle together!

You don’t have to spend a lot of money on your wedding to make it unique! This wedding is a perfect example of that.
